What ClinicShield is

ClinicShield is an independent, automated marketing-compliance scanner for medical spas. It reviews publicly available marketing and identifies potential compliance risks, each tied to a cited enforcement source, and offers sample language for your consideration.

Not legal advice; no attorney-client relationship

ClinicShield is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. Using ClinicShield does not create an attorney-client relationship. Our findings are informational risk flags, not legal determinations. Compliance rules vary by state and change over time, and applying them to your specific situation requires professional judgment. You should review any finding or suggested change with a qualified healthcare attorney before acting.

No guarantee or certification

We do not certify, guarantee, or establish that any marketing is or is not compliant, and we do not guarantee that following a suggestion will prevent an enforcement action, complaint, or penalty. A scan reflects what was publicly visible on the date it ran; marketing and enforcement both change.

Your responsibilities

• Submit only websites you own or are authorized to have analyzed.
• Use the service for your own legitimate business purposes and not to disrupt or reverse-engineer it.
• Make your own decisions about your marketing, with your own advisors.

Plans, billing, and cancellation

Paid plans are billed on the interval you select (monthly or annual). You may cancel at any time; cancellation stops future billing and takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.

Intellectual property

The ClinicShield name, site, reports, rule library, and software are our property. Your report is provided for use within your business. The public marketing content we analyze remains yours.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClinicShield is provided “as is,” and ClinicShield and its operator are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any decision you make based on a scan. Our total liability for any claim relating to the service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

Changes to the service and these terms

We may update the service and these terms. If we make material changes, we will revise the date above and, for active customers, communicate the change. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.
