The short version

• We only scan publicly available marketing — the pages, reviews, and images anyone can see on your website. We do not access patient records, portals, or any protected health information.
• We collect the contact details you give us (your email, your clinic’s website, and optionally your name) so we can send you your scan and communicate with you.
• We do not sell your information, and we do not run advertising trackers that share your data with third parties.

Information you provide

When you request a free scan, start a plan, or contact us, we collect the website URL you enter, your email address, and any name or message you choose to include.

Information collected automatically

Like most websites, our hosting provider records standard technical logs (IP address, browser type, pages requested) to keep the service secure and reliable. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking pixels on this site.

Scan content

To produce a scan, we retrieve and analyze the publicly accessible pages of the website you submit. We store the findings and the relevant public marketing text so we can generate your report and monitor for changes over time.

How we use information

• To run your scan, generate your report, and provide ongoing monitoring and alerts.
• To respond to you and send the materials you request.
• To operate, secure, and improve the service.

Service providers

We share information only with the vendors that help us operate, and only as needed to do so:

• Vercel — website hosting and infrastructure.
• Supabase — our database, storing leads, scan findings, and account data.
• Firecrawl — retrieving the public web pages we analyze.
• Anthropic — the AI model used to analyze marketing text. Content sent for analysis is not used to train their models.
• Google Workspace — our email.

We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

Data retention

We keep your information for as long as your relationship with us is active and as needed to provide the service. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below), subject to any records we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete your information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing chris@clinicshield.io. Because we scan only publicly available pages, a scan reflects what is already public; to change what we can see, update your public marketing.

Security

We use reputable infrastructure providers and reasonable technical measures to protect the information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we take care to limit what we collect in the first place.

Children

ClinicShield is a business service and is not directed to anyone under 18.

Changes

If we update this policy, we will revise the date above. Material changes will be communicated to active customers.
